OECI Excellence Mobility Programme 2026: A Unique Opportunity for Young Professionals!

August 10, 2026

Designed to promote professional development, knowledge sharing, and international collaboration, the programme enables participants to gain first-hand experience in different healthcare and research environments, while bringing valuable insights back to their home institutions.

Cancer centres across Europe face many common challenges and opportunities. The OECI Excellence Mobility Programme aims to strengthen connections between institutions by encouraging the exchange of expertise, best practices, and innovative approaches.

Participants can tailor their exchange experience according to their professional interests, including:

  • Clinical practice
  • Cancer research
  • Quality management
  • Organisational development
  • Other areas relevant to comprehensive cancer care

By spending time in another OECI-accredited institution, participants can expand their professional networks, develop new skills, and contribute to a stronger and more connected European cancer community.
To facilitate participation, successful applicants may receive funding of up to €2,000 to cover travel and accommodation expenses associated with their exchange.

Applicants must:

  • Be under 40 years of age
  • Be affiliated with an OECI Member Institution
  • Have the support of both their home institution and the proposed host institution

The OECI Excellence Mobility Programme represents an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals seeking international experience and professional growth within Europe's leading cancer centres.
